Keith Primeau

I was the 3rd overall pick in the 1990 NHL draft and played in the league for 15 years. My career was built on hard work, discipline, and leadership. Early in my hockey career I was introduced to John Gallagher through another player who was John’s client. This introduction to John helped change my life. From that moment on, I understood the importance of having a great team around me that could guide me with financial planning, tax advice, estate planning, and insurance planning. After playing in the NHL, I went on to have a very successful business career. I have now joined Maverick Partners Wealth Management as a Professional Athlete Operations Consultant. I enjoy making myself available to current NHL players, AHL players, and retired players. I will be producing content periodically discussing all aspects of being a professional athlete. I am excited to share my experiences with other athletes.
